Samsung not 2

My samsung galaxy note 2 updated and said downloading do not turn off target I do not know which update it was was but now it won't come on or charge or anything I tried taking the battery out and holding power home and volume up and volume down i took battery out and plugged up charger and tried still nothing what do I do?

i have had this problem before but i fixed it.
what you have to do is open it up, and the little coloured wires that connect the battey to the phone,unplug those wires from the phone and reconnect them, this worked for me.
or maybe your charging cord is broken or the charging port on your phone is busted.

My phone was charging before it downloaded the update bit it won't light up or anything

There was an update for the Galaxy Note 2? That's a very old phone to receive some kind of OS / System Version update. My work phone is an old Galaxy Note 2 and has not seen an update in over 3 years.
