Samsung Note 10+ issues when charging shows yellow triangle with thermometer in it

I have only had my note 10 for a few months and it started having issues charging, it would flash on charging, then vibrate and shows a yellow triangle with a thermometer in the middle, it does this repetitively. So I bought another charger that I set my phone on thinking it could be the USB port. This did not help. I have tried turning the phone off for awhile then trying to charge it when it is off, thinking the thermometer might mean the phone was getting hot. If anyone has had this issue or knows how to fix this. I would really appreciate it.

The phone has never been wet or around moisture and I have now tried it with 3 different USB chargers and 2 different chargers that you just lay the phone on and same results. It gave me a message saying "Charging stopped your phone's temperature is too low" I was going to try throwing it in the oven for a minute... not really but kind of a weird message, I am in Florida and it is 90+ degrees out...

You made sure the charger port is free from lint or dirt? Is this mositure detected Indicator?

Welcome to Android Central! Any water damage? That kind of behavior tends to be associated with water damage to the port.

Yep, I cleaned the port and then used both of my wife's wireless chargers that don't use the port. Thanks for your response!

No water damage at all, I have not even had it in a moist area, I am in Florida so there is humidity but for a phone that is water resistant, that should not be an issue although I have seen the humidity affect the USB port and that is why I tried the wireless sit on chargers. Thanks for replying to my post, this is frustrating.

How did you clean the port? Using a can of compressed air to blow it out, then a Q-tip dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts?

Next time you see that indicator can post a screenshot? I want see if it's moisture alert or a temp alert

Actually that is exactly what I did. Used the spray making sure I kept it far enough away from the port not to cause condensation and then used a qtip with a minimal amount of alcohol. The thing is right now I am laying it on the charger that does not even need the port and still same issue.

Thank you , I would make a claim with Samsung to get fixed under warranty
