To remove "please sign in" notification of deleted Gmail account try this:
Go to the GMAIL app on NOTE 3
In upper right corner, tap the google circle with your initial in it
the accounts you had and have will populate
- choose the unwanted account,
TAP LEFT BUTTON ON BOTTOM OF NOTE 3 - THE ONE THAT IS NEXT TO THE HOME BUTTON. IT LOOKS LIKE A LITTLE LADDER, IT IS THE LIST BUTTON. IT LISTS ACTIONS.
CHOOSE REMOVE ACCOUNT
this removes the account from the notification screen.
