Samsung Pay and Lock Screen Annoying

Today was my first full day with my watch. Every time I drop my arm and raise it, I have to enter my pin. The only remedy to this problem for me was to tighten the band so tight that it's very uncomfortable. This is the second problem I've experienced with this otherwise wonderful watch. The other being cards deleting themselves in Samsung pay. I really want to keep this watch, but I can't live with these issues.

I've only had it require my pin once or twice, but I've only had it just shy of a week. I'm guessing you're using the OEM band it came with. You could purchase a different band and see if the holes on another band accommodate your wrist better.

Great idea! I'll give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion.

Well that's disappointing you think this would be uniform except for language.
Well maybe just check to see if you have the latest update as this option was recently released

I have given up with my stainless band that I wear loosely. Samsung pay just isn't worth my watch not fitting comfortably. Maybe when I only need a pin when I go to use it will I try again.

Same version as mine. I just installed mine this past week.

Regardless of the type of band you wear, it has to be snug enough to stay in place. When I wear a metal band, the watch still doesn't slide around. Not only does wearing it too loose cause the lock to trigger the pin, it's not going to read your heart rate accurately.

My pin usually needs to be reentered after sleeping. I guess if the bottom of the band is pressed into a bed or table top it may lift the watch up. But I've tried pulse readings in those positions as a test without issue.

You're not accidentally loosening the band while sleeping. Long periods of inactivity is a another trigger for requiring PIN entry.

At first I could not find this either....but it IS there! If I recall you have to tap on the screen and you will see the two options...changes mine to use pin when paying only.
