Samsung Pay App will not work in UK on Note 5 purchased outside UK

SP was released for the UK a little while back. Have tried to access it via the app on my Note which was purchased via Hong Kong/China and, although everything else on the device has worked and connected 100% since I purchased it over a year ago, the app states only available in UAE. have tried to redownload it from Samsung but it wont work.

Any ideas?
