Someone in a different thread ( http://forums.androidcentral.com/showthread.php?t=588978). thinks Walmart is now blocking SP because they came up with their own payment.

I just used it at Walmart less than an hour ago.

I'm giving up on SP. I used to be able to use it at Walmart and Lowes, but now it doesn't work at either. I've tried it other places as well, and it never goes through, but when I use the physical AMEX credit card that is registered with SP, it goes thru without a problem.

It always "appears" to work based on what I see in the app, but the transaction always gets declined. According to AMEX, they never see the transactions, meaning, it's rejected at the point of sale.

I'm having the same problem. But both AMEX and PNC are telling me they see the declined transactions and the transactions are declined because of incorrect reads by the card reader. Told me to address it with Samsung.

Called Samsung - they told me it's the bank declining my transactions and they have no control over that.

Guess Samsung Pay really was just a farce that was too good to be true.

It's hit or miss for me, I don't bother with it anymore. Faster to take my card out than try 4 times to no avail. I do like the instant notification I get when I use my card though. So it still has some value

has anyone been able to get this to work nice with Android Pay?
I often get a "can only use one mobile app at a time" or something like that decline from the terminal when I try to use android pay on my phone, but Samsung pay usually works fine

Samsung Pay works great in Canada in case anyone was curious. Most stores have NFC terminals but at the few that don't I've been able to put my phone near the mag stripe reader and have it work. Since everyone has chip cards here the clerks don't think the mag stripe method will work but so far I haven't had any issues.

I haven't used this in weeks because of the failures and declines. Pretty much gave up on it. Will try again today and see if it has gotten any better. I have only had one transaction go through in about 15 attempts.

Can't get it from Play Store, you have to install from Samsung's Galaxy store.

After going shopping with a friend (who uses SP everywhere) I realize it was 'operator error' preventing me from getting it to work for me. I wasn't putting my fingerprint in prior to placing phone next to reader (DUH!). Since the correction I haven't had a single purchase not go through. I love it... it's amazing!

And the look on the cashier's face when it goes through is priceless. I never get tired of "That won't work here" or "we don't take Apple Pay". As the receipt is spewed out the cashier takes out their Iphone and asks "How do i get my phone to work like that?" I simply tell them to sell their phone and buy a Galaxy.

I think the people that are having problems are not doing something right because I use it everywhere I go to test it out and it works. Go on YouTube and look up samsung pay and look for the official samsung youtube. There are videos that will help

I tried it yesterday at the same card reader it's been accepted at in the past and I couldn't get it to work.
Had to take out my plastic.

There have definitely been situations where it didn't work even though it should have. It's not always user error.

It's the best mobile payment application on the market hands down. The reactions I get from cashiers are priceless especially when they tell me "Apple Pay doesn't work". Of course it doesn't, I wouldn't use it if it didn't work LOL.

It was certainly the case for me. Once I started using it correctly I haven't had a single issue (even where I was having issues before). I even went to the store yesterday and took nothing inside but my phone (talk about faith). Cashier rang up my items and I put my phone up to the card machine and it quickly beeped, processed and spit out my receipt (and sent my 'purchase notice' as usual). I love it and the reactions are absolutely priceless, especially the Apple fans... LOL!
