Chip based cards are supported by Samsung pay. No need to insert the card at all. If it does not work then you should report it to samsung.
When did the update come out? I opened the Samsung pay app just now and it wants me to update.
Having issues using it at walmart now, was working before. The message is declined wrong card used. I selected debit , then tried credit . Both did not work, sad I had to pull the card out.
actually it does have the neccesary hardware according to Loop Pay, who is the creator of the MST technology. Google Loop Pay's website and in their FAQ it has a list of compatible phones and Samsung goes all the way back to the S3. I'd post the link but I only have 5 posts.
This directed to the person who said S5 doesn't have the MST coil
I purchased an unlocked unbranded Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge recently. While I have installed Android Pay, Samsung Pay does not seem to be available. I activated the phone to my AT&T account at an AT&T store. Is it or will it ever be possible to ever install Samsung Pay?
I have a really minor question that is definitely not worth starting a whole new thread over, but thought this might be the best place to piggyback it: anyone know what the N in the orange circle that shows up on the app means?
Thanks in advance!
