Got to say. I have emailed Samsung over and over.
Called them on the phone over and over.

Emailed Google also.
And I have been calling At&t from my phone 611
Complaining about WHY.
Does Samsung Pay keep downloading and wanting to install.
And trying to pop up when I am doing thing.

I am about to loose it with Samsung phones as much as I like them

Why did I pay very good money for a phone. And I have app like Samsung Pay keep updating itself and I can't turn it off and keep it turned off.
It automatically turns permissions back on and keeps updating itself.

If this keeps up. I might destroy this phone from the stress I live with Samsung Pay.

Please describe how you have attempted to disable Samsung Pay.
I disabled it from my Samsung account and I very rarely receive notifications of updates.

Went into Settings
Applications
applications mgr,
Samsung Pay and samsung pay frame work.
turned off all permissions and notifications
Cleared Catch and Date.

Forced Stop.

It comes back and updates itself and turns on permissions and notifications.

And comes on your phone later asking for you to install it.

I was also told to go into setting and notifications and turn Google play off.

Open your app tray and locate the icon for "Galaxy apps."
Open the App., you will need to set up an account if you haven't already. Once you are at the store front home, open the drop down menu in the upper right corner. From there open settings and disable application updates .
You should also change the setting to only update over WiFi when you do want to update things.

I have done that once.

It came back and still wants me to update new software.
And wants me to use the app.
I want to totally get the Samsung Pay off my Phone.

I'm about to use a hammer on it.

Nobody should have to deal with this when they deal with a product.

Getting rid of it is not going to happen but controlling, when, where and how the updates is possible.
Keeping all of the installed Apps. up to date is critical for security but having the knowledge of what is being updated is my focus and some of the updates like the resent S Note updates can only be had from Samsung.

I came to Samsung 3 yrs ago from iPhone software.
Had 3 Samsung phones.
Samsung Pay its self could make me leave Samsung totally and start looking for another phone.
If it's that important to shove it down my throat..

I had a Samsung washer, Samsung Dryer,Samsung TV, Samsung phones.
Got rid of everything but the Dryer and phone.

Sounds like you made your decision already. Can't disable Apple pay either as far as I know. So now Samsung and Apple are out. Good luck with whatever you choose.
