Question Samsung phone black screen and isn't detected by PC

Hello, My samsung galaxy fell to the ground and now has a black screen and though turns on, makes no noise, nothing appears on screen and when plugged in to PC with usb cable, isn't detected and so I can't get the information, like photos and smses, from the phone.

Does anyone know what I can do to access the information on the phone using PC.?

Welcome to Android Central! Unfortunately, you may be stuck. In order for the PC to detect the phone, you'd have to unlock the phone screen and also change the USB connection from Charge Only to File Transfer -- both of which would be very difficult without being able to see anything.
