With the S6 having glass facing on the back and front of the device, I'm concerned about screen cracking from drops. For convenience I was planning to go with my carrier's (AT&T) protection plan, but I'm really turned off by the high deductible. I noticed that Samsung has a plan similar to Applecare:
Samsung Protection Plus Mobile Elite
It's $99 for 2-year protection, and each claim is $75. Definitely cheaper than AT&T's (Asurion) plan which is $7/mo and $199 claim deductible. It doesn't cover theft or loss, but I'm not too concerned about that.
Has anyone purchased this plan for a previous Samsung device (e.g., S5)? I'm curious to hear how well the plan worked. Thanks.
