I haven't been around these forums in awhile and it seems a whole bunch for this phone has popped up! If I remember right, the update.zip is stored in the /cache directory, not the sd card like it claims. I've got my and my brothers phone to attempt catching the update.zip file once I backup my current setup. I'm still on good ol' ED23 and LeafRom 0.2 at the moment. Once it's updated I'll be testing out random exploits on it. How did the update process go?

Update process was easy - about 10 minutes. Just need to be on EF27 with the stock recovery image. I did however loose root and am currently unable to root. Working on getting root permits again and will update you all when I get there.

I can't get my phone to find it and my brother's would not let him update. It would say the verification failed, but I still pulled his update from the /cache directory. If you are able, can you check your /cache for "ad1f8364d46c.SPH-M580_update_EF27_to_EK18.zip?" I know it might be a hassle to go back to EF27 just to pull it, so don't worry about it if you don't feel like it. I'm just not sure this file finished downloading.

EDIT: Nevermind, I got it working. Running the update now!

Did you get the update file?

Yep. I'm on an awful connection though, so even ~50mb could take me awhile to upload. I'll let it run and update here as soon as its been uploaded. All I had to do was place it on the root of my sd card and rename to "update.zip". After that it's just a matter of rebooting to recovery and selecting update.

Update: firehak.com/ad1f8364d46c.SPH-M580_update_EF27_to_EK18.zip

Enjoy!

Just download the file that is attached to one of the previous posts to your SD card, reboot to recovery (hold down U on keyboard while powering up the device) and select update from update.zip on SD card. That will get you updated more quickly.

According to sprint, up to 10 days from when they started, so you could wait up to 9 more days. there is no way to know for sure.

It's just a matter of personal opinion. You can either download it and put 51mb on the sd card or let it download eventually to your internal storage. I'm not sure if the cache directory is a separate partition or not, so I can't really say if you should be worried about space. I do recommend a factory reset after installing, though. There is no difference in what I have posted and what you'll get, I just so happened to be able to grab the update from another Replenish phone before mine allowed me to update.
