Samsung S3- getting camera shutter sounds automatically but no pictures anywhere

I am getting camera shutter sounds (the sound which comes when v click a photo ) from my S3 after every 15-20 mins automatically as if its taking a picture.This happens regardless of the phone being in use or idle mode. But there are no pictures and I have no clue what is happening. I tried hard but could not fix this.Its very annoying for me now.Could some one please help me out with this.

Sounds like an annoying little glitch. How long have you had the phone. From new? Have you done a system update recently? These glitches can occur after one of those. A factory reset should fix the problem. It doesn't sound like a major problem. Good luck.
