Samsung S6 continually restarting - can't get assistance in either U.S. or India

Hi. I have the famous and delightful issue of my S6 continually restarting itself. Now it seems to be doing it mostly when the phone is charging. My S6 was made for the American market and I am in India. I chatted with U.S. Samsung Support and they said they can't do anything for me because I'm in India. I went to Tech Support office in India and they said they can't do anything for me because my phone was made for U.S. market. If this is a problem with the firmware, why can't it be fixed remotely by one or the other of the U.S. or India support outfits?
