Samsung S7: any way to disable auto-send after voice text?

When you make a voice text, you press and hold the microphone icon...as soon as you let it up it automatically sends a voice file. I want actual words in the text, not an audio file...any way to do this using the microphone instead of finger texting?

Dont hold down on the microphone. Tap it and the speak now screen should pop up. It will convert your spoken word to text and it will not send until you hit send. This way you can make corrections.
