Samsung S7 battery life if buying now?

Was wondering if it is worth it to buy a new S7 now after the phone has been released for a while? Is the battery still fresh. Are you getting a year old phone and has battery degraded?

If you're buying a used one, then it might be a gamble in the battery, and the rest of the hardware.
If you're buying it new from a retailer, then there is a good chance that the phone your purchasing is less than a few months old, at most.
Retailers aren't going to have a phone sitting around for a year unsold.
