Samsung s7 rear glass

I purchased my phone 2 weeks ago. I was holding it in my hand about to dial someone when I felt a click in my hand only to find when I turned the phone over the glass had crack exactly where my finger was placed on the edge where the aluminium contacts the glass. Surely that's a design flaw. I'm persueing o2 for a replacement at the moment anybody got any concrete evidence whether they have a design flaw or have heard of any other people report similar issues.

That should be a warranty job! Take it back. There might have been a bit of flex on the chassis of the device.... I haven't heard of that happening before...
