samsung s8 navigation bar when typing

Hello. I would like to remove my nav bar when typing on my s8 plus without rooting. It's a real pain.

Unfortunately there's no way to disable that. Since the Keyboard selection button is in the nav bar, it will always show up when you're typing. You might try to see if leaving a single keyboard active on your phone helps, but I doubt it.

settings, display, navigation bar, toggle show and hide to on.

once enabled, you'll notice a gray dot on left side of navigation bar. double tap it and the navigation bar will hide.

That only hides it for apps, not when typing (because the keyboard option is no longer in the notification bar, it's now in the navigation one... so it shows up).
