Samsung S8 screen goes blank until full reset

my Samsung S8 screen will go completely blank for no reason. The volume control still makes things change, but the screen stays completely blank until the phone is hard-reset by holding the power and volume down buttons for 30 seconds.

Does this trouble occur also in Safe Mode?

It only happens once every couple days. Having my phone in safe mode for days is not an option.
