Samsung s9 - has anyone seen this before?

Try a restart ...if it doesn't clear it's a defective screen ....they will replace the display under warranty
 
Restart and wipe didn't fix it. I'm in the USA at the moment and the phone's from Australia so I'll have to wait to get home to claim warranty I guess.
