I was planning on flashing the update for the UK region today, as it seems to be working fine for those who have done it. Guess I'll wait a bit longer.
Can't imagine why they don't just release it already.

Well, I gave up waiting and flashed the UK update last night.
Everything went fine.
Only issues I have are com.google.process.gapps, or something like that, kept crashing.
Did a factory reset, no luck. Disabled "sync all" in application settings, problem solved for now until I find the answer.
Also, the stock browser, which worked fine for me on HC 3.2, is a bit screwy on ICS.
Switched to Dolphin. Works great.
Everything else works fine so far.
Very nice upgrade.

Installed the UK update also and as far as I can tell everything works perfectly. I used this walkthru for the process for those scared of it.

I was scared to mess with my tablet but ics is very good so all I can say is don't be scared it's not even nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Took about 15 minutes.

I flashed the UK ICS update. Everything works perfectly and it's like a brand new tablet. Highly recommend.

In that case don't bash Samsung. With carrier backed tabs it's up to the carrier to push updates not Samsung. Complain to Verizon.

I did complain to Verizon and they said the problem has been on Samsungs end.

Did you really expect them to say anything differently? Come on now. They aren't about to be honest. Carriers take their sweet time updating devices because they want you get fed up and buy a new one instead. They also want to make sure they've shoved as much crapware as possible into it.

Dude. ICS on WiFi for US tabs just started being pushed out. Now yea, Verizon will add time for their testing but it doesn't change that Samsung took this long to release it for WiFi tabs that require no carrier testing at all. So, yea, blame Sammy, not Verizon. Within two or three weeks you can start blaming Verizon...

*IF* it's an actual update, then most likely yes ... but it probably will be the exact same software, in which case there would be no need to update.

Yeah, Verizon can't do much until Samsung gives it to them...but I'm willing to bet 2 things:

1. Verizon has had the update for a least a little while now to test
2. It will take a lot longer than you'd like for it get released by VZW, and now that the WIFI version has been updated, there's no reason not to put the blame on them.
