Samsung smart switch (1 sim card)

When using samsung smart switch between iphone and samsung when should I transfer the sim card, before/after?

I want to keep the sim card that's in my iphone and transfer it to samsung.

Was told that does not affect smart switch

Yup doesn't matter. SmartSwitch doesn't touch the SIM card.
