Samsung smart switch

Need advice, transfer all content using Samsung smart switch or just fresh install everything. Not sure smart switch will take garbage or bugs with it and slow down new device

I used smart switch to switch from my iPhone X. Worked great. Haven't had any issues yet.

I prefer to set up new if I have the time. It gives me a chance to clear out apps I don't really use. Kind of a fresh start.

Ran Smart Switch from Note 8 to Note9 via USB connection. Transferred everything including my large music and video library stored on my SD card. Estimated transfer time was 2 hours, completed in half that time with no errors!

I used smart switch to transfer phone, contacts , documents, text messages, and settings but declined to transfer the apps.Decided to install apps separately to avoid any unnecessary apps plus easier to download them separately then from backup as did mine from SD card.

There was no problems either on mine either and all was easy to go from the new phone. But came from S8+. Had all settings for Nova backed up as well.
