Question samsung tab a7 SM-T500 (NOT the lite) battery question

samsung "support' said the battery should last 13 hours. it lasted 4, to 5 hours, so they said to send it to samsung for repair.
great service , pick up at door and returned to door, free.
Repair said there was nothing wrong, should only last 5 to 8 hours! so they returned it.
they also updated it which i did not want but a reset to factory specs actually returned it to a later date!
This also updated the samsung browser so now it has faults!
anyway how do i find out on the tablet how long it should last?

Did you buy it brand new or used/refurbished? That tablet was released in 2020.

Install Accubattery and check the battery health. You typically need to do a few charge cycles before it can give you a reasonable estimate of the battery health. Anything <85% indicates a fairly aged battery, which means it won't hold as much charge as it used to.

Also remember that the battery life in reviews is often not based on real world usage. A lot of times, the test is based on continuous video streaming, or some kind of automated web surfing script. Most people won't use a device this way -- they will typically be switching between apps a lot, and this can take a little more power than just keeping one app on the whole time.
