Hi all,

My Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 doesn't see my OTG-devices anymore. I can still charge, so I guess the micro USB port is still ok, but when I connect my external card reader or HDD, it doesn't see it. Everything worked fine until a couple of says ago, I don't know what changed...

Who knows what to do? I don't want to root it, because it's still pretty new and I want to keep my warranty...

Thanks!

Android 6.0.1
Kernel 3.10.84-9829844

Rooting probably won't solve your problem. Try the OTG cable/adapter on another device and try plugging the tablet into your computer. The former will check the OTG cable/adapter, the latter will check the USB connector.

Just because it is charging doesn't mean it can't transfer data.

I had a problem with it when my s2 was new. Turned out to be the otg cable in particular the one with a right angle end did not work well. It would see some devices, not others. The straight end variety works for me. You might try a new cable.
