Samsung Trade In

Should always keep all the candy.... That pixel charger is a good charger.

Right now I have a Pixel 3, the box and the candy it came with, same with the 10+. When I trade/sell either, back in the box they go along with all the candy and bye bye.
Have a Pixel Stand and a note 10 stand - handles my charging needs.

I learned my lesson when building PCs, always ended up with 4,987 extra screws, 76 extra SATA cables, 56 doohickies, 93 gizzamchies, and many things I can't even identify.

Any doubt, throw it out - this explains my 40 years of bachelorhood - *

* except for current Forum Spouse who now hold the record for the longest relationship in my life. The fact we have never met explains this.

Damn FedEx ground is slow, I dropped off mine from Seattle area Wednesday and it's taking one week to deliver to Fort Worth, TX. Scheduled delivery is September 4th, Wednesday.
Same schedule delivery Wednesday and that's NJ

Nerve-racking isn't it? I can't wait for the received/approval email.

I never got an email that they received my trade in, which arrived Thursday. Instead, this morning, I got the email saying my trade in has been accepted.

lol I have this, but I go to it often for one cable or another. same for my screws. I use them. I have to do a bit of fidgeting with my newest server pretty soon and that small box of screws will come in handy.

can you have it picked up or do you have to drop it at FedEx or a FedEx box? I live fairly remotely so nothing near by. FedEx is always in my neighborhood though.

I have to worry for two of them, one for Note 10 return and another trade in for Note 10+. Both scheduled for Wednesday delivery and hoping they go smooth without any issues

From the email

"Drop off the package at any authorized FedEx Ship Center. Click here to find one nearest you.

Please do not use a FedEx Drop Box when making a return. All packages must be dropped off at a FedEx Ship Center."

According to them you should drop off at FedEx ship center. Not sure if you can have them pick up from the house.

thanks. there are no FedEx ship centers near me and I'm not driving 30 or 40 minutes to a shipment center. I'll flag a truck down if I have to, but first I'll call for a pickup.

I wish there was a smoother way. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

So relieved that I got an email this morning from Samsung stating:
"We’re happy to inform you that your Trade-In was successful and your device met all of the eligibility requirements. We hope you’re enjoying your new Galaxy Note10+ 256GB (Unlocked). No further action is needed at this point."

Does anyone know if it's ok to use FedEx Onsite at Walgreens to send in the trade-in? I know Samsung says not to use FedEx drop boxes (which makes sense since those don't give you a receipt), but there's no explicit mention of using Walgreens sites.

You shouldn't have a problem if the units you sent were as described

I dropped mine of at a FedEx Onsite at ACME supermarket. That works too. I received my approved email 3 days after Samsung received it.

This is SAMSUNG we talking about !
Lol yeah, it's not like I haven't had Samsung trade ins before. I think this is my 5th trade in with them and all previous were successful. But until it is successful you never know what to expect from them

when you click the link in the email to show you closest ones, the walgreen's site was #2 on my list. it's still a pita to get there so if I don't see a truck in my neighborhood, or can't do a pickup, I'll go there. may get my flu shot while I'm there so it doesn't feel like a useless trip.
