Samsung unlocked Ultra to Verizon service

I just replaced my Verizon sim cards in the two unlocked phones and they work great. My Verizon doesn't seem to know I have new phones. Do I need to call them or just forget it? They keep asking me to upgrade.

Just ignore, My Verizon not recognizing your phone isn't affecting anything. They are asking you to upgrade? What do they want you to upgrade

Just know that they are clueless about unlocked phones and can say whatever nonsense it comes to their mind.

I remember my first unlocked experience with Verizon haha. It was the Nexus 6 and I was one of the earlier consumers to jump on it. Popped in my VZW sim and nothing. Called customer service and had to convince them that it would work and they had nothing to worry about. The agents were convinced that it wouldn't work LMAO. Finally they relented and let it go through and lo and behold ... It worked fine haha. Although for years, it was in my bill as "Unidentified Device"
