Samsung video player running in Background

I installed the Watchdog app which monitors app activity. It keeps alerting me that the Video Player service is using a high CPU level (49%). I've never used this app and don't plan to. It's a pain to force close in the settings as it's at the bottom of the list. Wondering if there is a setting I can change to stop it?
