Just ditched Firefox as I was experiencing way too much lag when scrolling. Am experimenting with Samsung's browser and so far so good. One of the settings is to turn java on/off. Any thoughts on what to do here? For some reason I associate java with security issues, but I could be completely off about this. I definitely want to stay as secure as reasonably practical....so just looking for an informed recommendation on whether to turn it on/off. Thanks

Thanks. I disabled it and then almost all of the sites I regularly visit (starting with google.news) failed to display. Turn it back on, and everything loads properly. I looked at the setting and it's actually for Javascript...not java. Is there a difference? Any security reasons that weigh in favor of keeping this turned off, or is it ok to keep it on?
