Samsung wifi authentication failure on unsecured wifi

Can anyone help
Ive started being having issues conecting to my unsecured home wifi as it tells me that I have an authentication failure and "incorrect password" when there is no password at all

Any thoughts?

It sounds like it is attempting to connect with a secure network. Double check the network name its looking at. I have seen this often.

I've checked and the name is right and if I stand next to the router it will logon ok but if I am any distance away but still where thecsignal is strong it gives me the error.....

I'm stumped
