Samsung Xcover 4 < Active

Going through my Google headlines, I clicked on an article stating Samsung's new rugged phone is out. Turns out this phone is IP68, has 2GB ram, and 16Gb of on board. I barely read the rest as this isn't anything close to what a S8 Active should be.

I don't think it is supposed to replace the "S* Active" - not with a 2800 mAh battery. It's an old line they're bringing back with a small 5" display! Read it again... they had an XCover 3 back in 2015 with a 2200 mAh battery but they discontinued it... now they're just trying to bring it back. It's not the S8 Active for sure!

why Should i buy Samsung X cover 4 for 250$? if i can get batter rugged smartphone for 130$. I am talking about AGM A8. AGM A8 running Updated OS 7.1, it have 3GB RAM 32GB ROM which bigger than XCover 4, come with 4050mah battery which much bigger than Xcover 4, it have Gorilla glass protection and IP68 certified.

if AGM A8 have too many advantages over Samsung XCover 4 than why should i spend extra 100+ $ on Samsung XCover 4?

Read my previous post - you are much better off with the AGM A8 in your case for sure!!!

Saw this this morning too. No it is not to replace the Active. This is a budget rugged phone. S8 Active is still coming. Having said that.... Am I the only one that would love to see the back of the S8 Active have the same look as the XCover4's back?

Is it basically a J3 with ruggederization?
