I have several email accounts. One is specifically with yahoo to sync my google calendar, which I always want synched. Another one is my main account; I get so much email (hundreds each day) that most of the time I do not want to receive messages from that account. However, OCCASIONALLY I want the ability to send or receive email. Is there an easy way to turn on/off the account? or not forward/sync mail for that specific email account?

IF it's anything like the Epic, to stop email coming into an account automatically:
  1. Go into the account
  2. Menu - Account settings - Email check frequency - Never
That's my guess, anyway.

Wouldn't you just have to sync the backlog of email while sync was disabled when you do choose to receive email? If the notifications bug you then just disable them.

Toggling sync or changing the polling frequency if you do want to receive email just seems like more hassle then it's worth to me but I could be missing something.
