I tried to get the 30 off but the guy couldnt find the code at first and then he found it but said it was only for a free activation fee so instead he gave me 250 anytime minutes which i was satisfied with cause u can never go wrong with more minutes especially when they're free.

If you ask nicely, they will credit your account even if it's an upgrade (probably as long as it was a 2-year contract extension). It might take a few calls.

Tipical Verizon game. They give you what you want but first you have to jump through a few hoops.
Since the phone isn't going to ship till the 14th I'm gonna good out for some kind of promotion, in the mean time.

The two that I was able to order yesterday were not for new lines, they were upgrades of my current phones. The promo says "Promotion code is only valid with a new 2yr activation and purchase of a 3G Smartphone", which in my opinion could easily mean you are signing a new two year contract.....not opening up a new line.

Just got off the phone with CS. My NE2 date was 5/20/10. The first agent said she could not bump my date, so I politely asked to speak with a supervisor. We had a pleasant exchange and I explained my situation. After about 15 minutes, we were finished.
$199 Online - $100 NE2 - $30 coupon = $69 Incredible!

I received no push back on any of the discounts and my new phone ships tomorrow for Wednesday delivery!

Finally!!

After not getting anywhere with a supervisor in billing to get my $30 per phone credit, (I've also been overcharged nearly $200!) I was given the option to do a satisfaction survey. Well, I let them have it (if you want to be bored to tears, see my botched order nightmare here.)

So I got a call back today in response to the survey, and the girl who called me back said she'd take care of the overcharge AND getting me the $30 discount per phone.

I do hope it really comes through!
