Save settings?

I did a factory reset right before i did the ICS upgrade. I have my phone's setting exactly the way I want them. I have all of the apps that I want. All of my shortcuts and widgets are perfectly lined up to my taste.

My question is, is there a way to save everything (settings, apps, etc.) the way it is now? Just in case a month from now, I have messed with things and am unhappy, I can just reload the settings and whatnot to get the phone right back to the way it is today.....?

If this is possible, is there an easy step by step guide to do it?

That is a good question and I don't have the answer, but I think someone will come along and tell you that you can do that with an app that only works if you are rooted.

Take a screen shot of your home page,go to the screen capture thread we have here on this forum,upload it,then u can come back to the thread and take a look at it,or screen capture it again.hope that helps...

To make a backup of your entire phone or what's called a nandroid backup, you would have to be rooted. A nandroid backup is basically a snapshot or image of your entire phone.
