Saved picture location

Im attempting to save pictures from apps to set as wallpapers (tapiture,chive,reddit) but the photos are not being saved to my gallery. Am i missing a setting somewhere? Where can i find my saved pictures? Im running free nova if that makes a difference.

You don't have a "downloads" folder in your gallery?

I know when I save pics from Facebook, it saves as a 'hidden' file. I have to use something like AstroFile Manager to get to it on the root of my SD card (or internal memory) and rename it so it shows up.
