I need to do a complete reset of my phone. How do I save everything on it to Drive or similar. At the moment I can only upload photos and that wont complete, I want to save addresses, contacts and calendar etc.

Addresses, contacts, and calendar entries aren't backed up to Drive, but to your Google account in general. As long as your contacts are "google contacts" and not phone contacts, and your calendar entries are "google events' and not phone events. You can check this by logging into your gmail account and go to contacts and calendar and see if they are synced.

Copy all of your files, both internal and SD Card storage to your computer via USB cable.
I don`t know how to do that. When I plug the phone in the HTC looks for media then dissapears so am now trying with a wifi file transfer but downloads keep failing.
Just use Moborobo PC Manager to easily back-up whatever you want from your Android smartphone to your computer.
