Saving files

How do I find files saved on the Note? Do I need an app, or is there a native way to access the file structure-- i.e. the equivalent of Windows Explorer?

I opened a document that I had emailed myself using Polaris Office, then would type in it, save it, and then poof! It was gone, and when I re-opened from the recent documents link in Polaris, it was the previous version without my changes. Help, please!

Open your app drawer (icon of dots in upper right corner of home screen) and find My File. It's a rudimentary file explorer that is bundled with the GN 10.1. My preference is File Manager HD which is free from the Play store.

In Polaris, it looks like in the menu there is a Save As.. option that allows you to choose where you want to save your document, spreadsheet, etc.

I doubt that it's relevant to your question but, FYI, I just downloaded an update to Polaris from the Samsung app store yesterday so you may want to make sure you've got the latest version.
