Is it possible to move a batch of photos from internal to external SD?
Sorry ive been off android for over a year now lol
I saw my buddies iPhone and he scrolls through his gallery and it is fast with all the thumbnails filled with photos; no preloading image. My Moto Z loads thumbnails as i scroll. It takes a while. How is the V30?SD cards are plenty fast for taking photos, and handle 4k video just fine as well. They are the only memory availabe to DSLR cameras after all, if they weren't fast enough it would cripple the cameras.
With that said, internal storage is faster, may notice a difference in speed for the gallery loading, and the phone may save burst photos to the main memory as some phones do that.
Look in the camera app settings, should be an option for where to save, many phones will have a pop up when opening the camera app after inserting an SD Card as well.

That was my thought but not my experience.Thumbnails are built the first time that you view and a cache is built so that subsequent views are quicker.

This is the exact behavior I am seeing when browsing the thumbnails of images on my SD card. I can see the bottom row of thumbnails being added as I scroll. After I leave the album, browse another, and return to the previous, the previously built thumbnails load with no lag.
I am using "piktures" by Diune as my photo viewer app.
