Saving pics from FaceBook

Hi - first ever post . Have an LG Optimus S. Cannot seem to figure out how (if it can be done with this phone) to save a pic from FaceBook, to the phone. You would think just pressing on the pic woud bring up that option or the menu button....not.

You can't do it with the official app. Dave pictures from the browser or use Friendcaster, a Facebook replacement, and press menu then save image.

Wow - ! This is a big thanks. How simple. I have asked this question to a lot of people and you are the first person to note that the App is not capable of downloading pics. ----Duh ! since downloading the App it did not occur to me to log onto FaceBook via the web. I hope this gets passed around. Sort of surprized that no one thought to mention this before you.

Yeah, one would think, as many times FB has upgraded their app (it's been a lot, believe me), that they would add this tiny feature.....
