Update: Got my phone back today! At least he kept his word on that.

Awesome!! Congrats man. That's great news. Doesn't change the fact that he scammed me and stole my money - but I got it back from PayPal. He's still a piece of shizz. But I'm definitely happy that you got your stuff back.

Email one of the Moderators... both of you guys.. Email the Mod.'s and tell them what is going on..

They might help ban the user from ever associating with the AndroidCentral community ever again...

BUMP!

Hey.. both of you buyers from the Scammer...

Talk to the Moderators.. they might be able to block the user and keep them from ever associating with the AC community ever again..

That's where I would go with it..

BUMP.

It IS possible to ban an ip by reporting to their isp, but with wifi everywhere now, it's pointless...

I'll bump this cause it's well deserved and we need to know.

The problem with trades with strangers online is that one person has to send the product first. Easily, two people can not trust each other and be hesistate.

People like this makes everyone hesitant at doing anything with someone no matter if you are the best buyer, seller or trader.

So sad people can be this way! :(

We don't get in the middle of these situations period. I see names, addresses, email info, and suggestions of paying him a visit, and get really uncomfortable about that. This is definitely not something we want to police, nor is selling/trading our primary focus. There's a big red sentence in the forum rules that says just that.

And yes, if he did indeed do that, he's a twit.
