Are there any scanners out there that I can scan a grocery item and it tell me the prices at the local stores like Walmart, Bi-lo, Foodlion? I have searched but unable to find.

Scan Life is OK. It's more geared towards online shopping, but I frequently get local (chains like WalMart) pricing as well.

you could always use the Phone application and call each store to verify the prices =P

joking aside, I think most apps compare online prices. It would be nice to see if it could compare by GPS location to local supermarkets.. but that would be a bit difficult to get all supermarkets to comply (i'm sure some would lose business from this)
