Screen and applications freeze randomly after recent update

I updated my Galaxy Megs 5.8 yesterday. The update promised better stability and support to Galaxy Gear. However, after the update, my phone has started freezing randomly. Initially, a dialogue box appeared saying that TouchWiz has stopped working. Now, even that doesn't appear. In addition to that, Phone has grown slow. Are these problems related? How do I solve them? Please help! (Hope the following data help!)

Have you tried clearing cache? If that doesn't fix it then the next step would be try a factory reset

I have tried factory reset 2 times but the issues still exists, pl give any solution if anybody has
