screen curve and ratio question

Hi all, I have the Galaxy s9 plus. I don't like the curved screen and have the game i have get cut off because of the screen ration.

How curved is the LG g8? Wondering if i will have the same issues / dislikes as I do with my Galaxy.

The G8 is not a curved screen.

It's 2.5D glass so it's not completely flat up to the edge but it is not curved like the Samsung or Huawei phones (mate 20 Pro or P30 Pro)

The front of the phone has slightly curved edges but the actual screen lays flat. It stops right before the glass curves. Because of that, the glare is a little wonky at the edges because it's curved glass reflecting but there is no warping of the actual screen like Samsung so no wierd edges throwing off the way games or videos look.
