screen dimmer after update?

My phone has always been on auto brightness. However, since the update I've noticed the auto brightness algorithm seems to lean towards a darker setting than it was before... annoying!

EDIT: I just confirmed. AUTO Brightness setting basically puts the phone into the lowest brightness level, regardless of the ambient environment the phone is in.

I've noticed this as well. On mine, I usually keep the screen at the lowest setting with the auto brightness off and I noticed the lowest setting is lower than it was before.

I like that the screen can go dimmer now. It was a pain reading ebooks in low lighting, was too bright.

My phone goes to the lowest in my house; but, at work it was around the same as it was under those lighting conditions (no windows). I don't mind it. Easier on the eyes.

No its definitely messed uo now.. even one notch from the lowest
Setting results in much brighter screen. Something is jacked up for sure
