Screen doesnt look flat

I have noticed something a few times and just wondering if anyone else has done the same. Sometimes my screen when reading text(seems more prominant on a white background) looks humped. It seems like the middle of the screen is higher than toward the edges or something, sort or like a topographical map.

I am on my second Inc. now after my original one's speaker blew out. I notice this on both on these phones. My fiancee has a Droid Charge and an Ipod Touch, I had a Blackberry Bold before and have never seen this on any of those. Just a weird observation I have noticed.

Could be a reflection off the screen protector or smears of hand oil causing a distortion? I have noticed that the ZAGG sometimes has an "Orange Peel" look to it. Other screen protectors seem to be skin oil magnets as well.

Just a thought.
