Screen Easily scratched

I gave my phone to my aunt to look at some pictures. She had a diamond crusted ring on her right index finger. Scratched the screen when she swiped... I'm mad, but, I only can see it when the screen is off and the light shines a certain way. That's diamond, one of the hardest objects on earth. I do believe this screen is resistant to most other objects, such as coins, keys, and other metals.

You want to try and be nice since its family, but wow would I be upset.

This is why I never let anyone touch my phone.

My aunt once was looking at my at the time 2 week old 2012 Acura TSX and her ring slid against the door. I heard it and freaked but thankfully no scratches.

I don't have anything overly personal like naked pictures or anything on my phone but I hate giving my phone to people with the idea that they are going to possibly look through it even accidentally by pressing buttons , looking through my email, etc. Your phone is just one of your personal things sort of like your computer

I'm not even going to say anything. Just treat it like a battle scar.

I could only imagine...I just recently had a friend of mine apply CQuartz UK edition to my '13 Evo X. It's a clear layer of ceramic. It has to be prepped and applied. When it dries, you have a hard ceramic shell that withstand all sorts of things that would normally scratch the first layer. Also, dirt and bird crap come off with hose pressure. No scrubbing. I haven't actually washed my car in months, and it looks like I have fresh wax every day. Check this out, you can FF to 6:30 for the scratch test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFxuy7Tmb7E
