Screen keeps lighting up

At night while in the wireless charger, after getting to 100%, my screen will light up and then go out. That's the normal part. It will continue to light up and go out every so often while on the charger. Anyone know if there is a setting for this? My note 8 didn't continue coming on.

Is it in a standing up position on wireless charger or laying flat? Do you have a bulky case on it? I know when I had a bulky case on my note8 while on wireless charging and phone was standing i had to constantly move it to where it would stop waking up, beeping, and start charging again. I usually had to lay it long ways or flat. Sorry if this is not it.

Hope that is it. Could be an app or worse, being bad charger or something up with phone. Hope it's just the case. Good luck

It's possible the phone is reaching 100% and then the charger is going into trickle mode so if it drops then below and then tops back up to 100% the light comes on again.

I tried without a case and had the same results. Tonight I am using my Samsung branded wireless charger instead of the one off I bought. I will report back tomorrow.

This is exactly what's happening. Just don't know why it's doing this when my note 8 didn't.

I've been using the charger that came with the note9. From time to time I use the Samsung wireless charger i got as a freebie from either note8 or note7. Couldn't remember which one lol. Here is a pic of the version I got. Is this the one you using?

Since you said those, I'm going to make sure you know those pics are the same charger. Did two pics since it lays flat and stands up. Its the convertible one

there is a setting that when plugged up the phone changes colors. I found it while pilfering around in the settings

Mystery solved. It was the generic charger I was using. I swapped it for one of my Samsung chargers and didn't have an issue.
