screen keeps popping up a white screen with "drive" on upper left

My Note 12 will suddenly pop up a white screen with the word "DRIVE" on the upper left. Before I can do anything it will revert back to whatever I'm doing and then revert back to the "drive" screen. The only "cure" is to restart and hope that it will go away, which it will.

I noticed that something is downloading while this is happening but I don't see anything download notifications.

me too.I have the same problem.the xcreen asks me to manage my settings.once i have done it.it keeps popping back up again even after i restarted and rebooted it

I'm having this issue as well, except on a Galaxy S5, did you ever resolve it?

I had the same very annoying issue on my Samsung J7. I searched in vain for a solution, this was only reference to it I could find so it must be a very rare issue. For the benefit of mankind here's how I eventually solved it, avoiding a phone reset:

Google Play Store > Google Drive > "Enable" (because I had disabled it previously, hoping that might work) > "Update" Google Drive

And that was it - no more locked up, battery draining phone that I had to reboot several times a day just to use!
