Screen mirroring on S7?

One thing I love about my current S5 and my old S3 is the ability to use an MHL adaptor to plug the phone into a non-smart TV and mirror whatever I put on the phone screen to the tv. I use it a lot.

I hear that the S6 dropped support for MHL, and the various hdmi wireless dongles it can cast to require a good fast wifi network or else you get dropped frames and out of sync audio. Not good.

I really don't want to lose this ability if I upgrade to the S7. Can anyone guess what solutions will be available for the S7?

I am confused. My S6 mirrors to both All Share Cast and in some cases Apple TV. Is there something I'm missing?

With my S5, I can use the MHL adapter to plug it physically into a TV HDMI port

But if I get the S7, the MHL adapter will not work and I'll have to get some kind of wireless dongle like an Allshare Cast HUB, or a Chromecast, or something similar. I hear those all stream over the local wifi so if you want to share the the whole phone screen you need good wifi. So not very good for a hotel room TV for instance.

Are there any particular setups that work well for the S6, that might work on the S7 too?
