Screen off animation?

I couldn't help but notice that the screen off animation (kinda like an old tv turning off) that was showed off for gingerbread when it was first released isn't included with the Droid X update. Anybody know if there is a setting that I'm missing?

Um, did you check your display settings? To get there (be at home screen obviously)... Menu > Settings > Display > Animations > All Animations

CM 7 has it built into the settings; you need root access and be willing to flash CM onto your phone.

HTC had it with a leaked desire Z rom but other than that I think the OEMS take it off for reasons unknown.

For root users this thread has the details for flashing the zip and making the crt screen off animation available on your phone. Though the belief is that without major mods this is primarily for Gingerbread users only, though I have seen this on Froyo builds.
