Screen protector

These are awesome. Feels alot like factory installed ones.

I AGREE! I thought it was weird with the wings, but it wrapped around flawlessly.... worked well even with the fingerprints. For $10 at amazon, this is the winner.

Got this WSD alternative for roughly 25 Euro delivered.
2 screen protectors, 3 glues and a tiny spirit level to help with correct installation.
Obviously UV light and installation tray

How does the quality and ease-of-installation compare to WSD?

This is something I'll never get. People spend $1300 on a phone and instead of going with a known good product to protect their phone they cheap out.

It reminds me of getting ear pads replacements for my Bose headphones. I see people buy knock offs ear pads that dont feel quite as good, but hey they saved $10. :-!

WOW I had zero luck with my 2 ESR . But in the past no problem with thm. They didn't reply to email emails looking at some of the reviews now they are not glowing by far
The fps isn't perfect, it still misses occasionally, but it's good enough to leave it on. I decided I would give the Whitestone Dome another try so when that arrives I'll put it on and seen if it's any better.

I ordered this same product and installed it yesterday. The installation is pretty straight forward and went well on the first try. The fingerprint sensor barely works, just awful. I deleted original prints, turned on screen sensitivity and re-scanned my prints (two each per thumb) and I have to press uncomfortably hard to register a print maybe 50% of the time. Cannot recommend at this time, I emailed the company and awaiting a response. Will likely go with the L/K plastic film protector.

I didn't cheap out, I got a better deal.
WSD are a rip-off in my opinion and they have a terrible name for crappy customer service.

I do agree with earbuds though :-)
My stash of Comply Foam ones are quite extensive at this stage

In my experience with Whitestone Dome on the Note 9, the EGV is similar quality. Installation, in terms of the tray, is a bit more flimsy (black release handle not always smooth) but I had no issues with installation.

It is a common feeling that WSD is overpriced. Reading about the quality of competitors is interesting, therefore, to many.

Another nice thing about the EGV is that it came with a card in the box to claim a free gift so I have a free wireless charging pad coming my way.
The LK case I got came with same free gift so I claimed a second free wireless charging pad and on top of that there was two film screen protectors with the case.
Ok I don't like screen protectors but they might come in handy.

My fingerprints work perfectly with the EGV protector. In the install video they tell you to do the UV light an extra time over the fps at the end of the install.. I did the UV light 3 extra times over the fps. Works as good as no protector. Wasn't hard to register the prints either. Didn't have to press hard..
